The type of shelter I built was a round-roofed smaller shelter. I built the shelter for a lady bug or an ant. I made the shelter very long so that they could be protected in the center, but then on the ends they can still see the outside world. I also made it fairly short since both of these animals are very small. However, there is still enough room for the lady bug to fly if it would choose to. It will function as a shelter by giving protection to the animals and giving them a safe place to be. I think it was a success, I could have added more details and improvements but because it was for a smaller animal I did not see a real reason to make it more detailed.
Humans of New York was created by current photographer Brandon Stanton. He takes photos of random people and then asks them questions and talks with them and then posts their photo and quote onto social media and his website. I find this inspiring because his photographs are very strong and focused and he also gets to talk to many people. I also like how he goes "outside the box" with this concept.
Website: http://www.humansofnewyork.com/ I solved problems and also collaborated. Throughout this project my group and myself had to receive Mr.Kratzer's opinion on what he wanted on his bulletin boards. He helped us understand the importance of his son being on the bulletin board as well as the LD "vibe" being shown throughout the boards. I solved problems when our group did not agree on certain ideas, as well as when the lamination kept falling off of the photos. We had to glue the lamination back onto the photo. I also solved problems by including "errors" into the design to make it still look appealing.
