I took these photos as practice. I learned that I need to take my photos earlier in the day because I began to run out of daylight. I also had trouble focusing the part of the bug that I wanted focused. However, I like how I was able to get different angles of the same slug. I think I will try to photograph more interesting bugs while camping this weekend, as the slug was not very interesting to photograph.
These photos are inspiring to me because I love the depth of field, vivid colors, and details shown on the bug.
This collage shows many of my favorite things. I used the feather tool to have a soft edge on all of the photos so that they look alike. In the background, I used the gradient tool to make the color go from blue to white. I used two different fonts for my captions and for my name. I used different colors of blue to help the captions stand out. All of the images on this collage I took or if I am in them, a friend took them for me. I enjoyed this project because it allowed me to remember some of the basic tools in Photoshop.
